Janette
Registered Dental Hygienist
Janette Lopez is a Registered Dental Hygienist who received her dental education from Miami Dade Community College. She has been in dentistry for 24 years and has been working with University Dental Group for over 16 years. Her responsibilities include evaluating patients gingival condition, taking x-rays, cleaning patients’ teeth, doing fluoride treatments, taking digital scans, scheduling appointments, answering the phone, gathering marketing information, and posting to the office’s Instagram account. Janette started working at a dental practice as a teenager and fell in love with the dental field. She loves getting to know her patients and helping them with their dental needs. If she wasn’t working in the field of dentistry, Janette would like to travel the world or be an esthetician. She is married with two daughters and enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, working out, going to local food trucks, playing board games, and singing karaoke.
Priscilla
Dental Assistant
Priscilla is a graduate of the Robert Morgan Vocational School in Miami. She’s certified in radiology and dental assisting and has been working in the dental field for nearly three decades. As part of her responsibilities as your dental assistant, she’s always working hard to provide you with the best five-star service and helping you to feel more at ease during any dental procedure. Priscilla loves everything about being a dental assistant, especially putting a smile on someone’s face after they visit with her and the dentist. She says her career is something that kind of just fell into her lap while Priscilla was a patient at her general dentist well over 25 years ago. He offered her a job as his assistant and she never looked back. Priscilla is married with two children. Outside of work, family is everything to Priscilla, and she says it doesn’t matter what they do as long as they do it together. She also enjoys the outdoors and the beach.
Rita
Dental Hygienist
Rita is a Dental Hygienist who has been working in dentistry for 20 years and with University Dental Group for 2 years. She received her education from the Miami Dade College Dental Hygiene Program. Her job duties include providing preventive dental services, treating gingivitis and gum disease, educating patients, exposing radiographs, answering the phone, and scheduling appointments. She loves working with her hands and helping others by educating them on oral health topics. She got into the dental health field when her dentist offered her a job as a dental assistant right out of high school. After doing that for four years, she decided to increase her skills and income by attending dental hygiene school. If she wasn’t working in this industry, Rita imagines she would be working with animals. Outside of the office, Rita enjoys going to the beach with her husband Alex, dining out, reading, attending book clubs, going to the movies, visiting museums and art galleries, crafting, and spending time with friends and family.
Ines
Administrator
Ines is an administrator and a retired registered dental hygienist. She has dedicated her entire career to the dental field. She has been working with University Dental Group for over 6 years. Some of her responsibilities include scheduling appointments, greeting patients, verifying insurance, and processing billing. She loves working with different people and assisting them in fulfilling their dental needs. Outside the office, Ines enjoys gardening, working on home projects, and spending time with her family and friends.
Norka
Registered Dental Hygienist
For well over a decade, Norka has been helping patients and families have healthier smiles as a registered dental hygienist. She joined the talented team at University Dental Group in 2017. Norka says her line of work is gratifying because it feels good to provide the best oral health care for every patient. As a dental hygienist, she not only cleans and polishes your teeth to perfection, Norka can answer any questions you might have about your smile. Norka says working at University Dental Group is unique because it’s an honest office that looks out for every patient’s interests and needs. Norka is adventurous, happy, hippie-ish, faithful, and a free spirit. Norka enjoys taking care of her family, skydiving, and boating when she’s not in the office.
